The TMC-400-1 tumble blaster is designed for intensive cleaning, derusting, deburring and roughening of medium to heavy bulk workpieces. Thanks to the robust steel trough belt and powerful turbine, the machine is particularly suitable for high capacities and heavy loads of up to 1000 kg total load weight. Its design makes it ideal for serial work and applications in foundries and heavy industry.
The machine uses a steel lamellar trough belt in which the workpieces are constantly tumbling so that all surfaces are evenly hit by the blasting process. A powerful GN throwing wheel® turbine with Ø380 mm diameter hurls abrasive onto the parts at high speed, ensuring deep and constant cleaning with lower wear and energy consumption. The blasting media is collected via the trough belt, transported up by an elevator and cleaned in a wind sifter, removing dust and impurities before it ends up back in the silo. The cleaned abrasive is returned to the turbine in doses. An integrated dedusting system with filters keeps dust emission below 5 mg/Nm³ and guarantees a safe working environment. The machine can be optionally equipped with automatic feed and discharge systems, magnetic separators and automatic abrasive control valves for maximum process control.
